Welcome to Bahía Blanca Port Consortium (Consorcio de Gestión del Puerto de Bahía Blanca -CGPBB). The Bahía Blanca harbour area system provides the main deep water port of Argentina. With a 92 km access channel, the area spreads along 25 km of the north shore at the Bahía Blanca Channel. Its 45 feet of depth make it the unique deep water harbour in the country. It offers a wide range of services and operation alternatives and its facilities are home to oil, cereal and by-products as well as fuel, gas and chemical by-products loading and unloading companies.
In accordance with Provincial Act 11414, CGPBB has been in charge of the administration of the first autonomous port of Argentina since 1993. The current port management model has been in effect for eighteen years and has led port changes not only in Argentina but also in Latin America. Bahía Blanca Port Consortium has met challenges and opportunities and has achieved highly competitive international standards. |
